I was just reading a list of acknowledged salaries for some of the great bloggers and could not believe my eyes! Now I knew that people, including me, were making money using their blogs, but even I was surprised by the amount some of these greats are making. The highest listed was 0,000,000 yes you read that right three hundred million dollars! In second place was 20 million dollars. Now a little bit more realistic for most of us is to think about ,000 to 0,000 annually which is very possible with a little work and time. You can earn money with blogs and as your fan base grows so will your income. There are hundreds and thousands of people looking for ways to make money online and one of the most simple ways to make money online is by blogging and there are many, as stated above, that are earning money with blogs. The great thing about blogs is that you can set one up for free and write about anything and everything. In other words, whatever you know you can write about and earn money with your blogs. It will definitely help you if you know a little bit about what you are blogging about but the main source of income comes from the advertisements and affiliate marketing that you do. There are a lot of things you can do to make your blog make money. But, of course, there are as many you can do to make it a slacker. Everybody probably knows the basics of a good moneymaking blog by now – good content, good SEO techniques, syndication, good choice of blog hosting site, etc. However, there remain things that one needs to stay away from in order not to negate whatever positive results any blogging strategy may bring. First off, although blogs are a personal form of writing, they can’t be used as an excuse to vent your anger towards or disapproval of things around you. Unless you’re a celebrity, readers just won’t care what happens to you especially if they don’t even know you. If you’re in the habit of narrating how excited you were on your child’s first day in school or your husband’s first big promotion, it’s just not going to hold water when it comes to readers who are always looking for useful information and not some life story they’ve heard many times before. Naturally, the one and only cardinal sin that any writer or blogger can commit is plagiarism. If you’ve ever entertained the thought of copying and pasting on your blog what you find to be good content on another blogger’s page, that could get you in legal trouble. Yet even if it doesn’t, word will get around that you’ve been copying other people’s work and that’s not going to sound very good to your valuable readers. Put differently, to make money blogging, you have to pay attention to what you put on your page because ultimately, this will decide the fate of your blog. Whether or not people are going to come back will be determined by what you write and unless you write good information, you will never be successful in your goal of creating a blog making money.
